Reliance Industries Limited conducted its 49^th Annual General Meeting on 29 August, 2024 where the Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Mukesh Ambani while addressing his shareholders made some important announcements-

Below are some of the important announcements made by Mr. Mukesh Amabani-

-While sharing his vision for businesses ranging from energy to entertainment he mainly focused on AI and deeptechinnovations such as JioBrain. Jio Brain works on AI poweredfeatures which allows users to summarize, transcribe and translate phone calls to other languages.

-He also announced about Jio AI Cloud Welcome Offer which will probably start this Diwali. It provide users with 100 GB free cloud storage data. 

-He also included in his speech the new JIO TVOS for JioSet TopBox which is fully homegrown operating system designed for big TV screens. It will offer users faster, smoother & personalized experience. It will come with 4K Ultra HD Videos, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

-He also mentioned that Reliance is going to establish world’s largest bio energy centre at Jamnagar, Gujarat to make improvements in biocatalyst and microbial consortia. It will also develop high yield drought resistant variants for energy crops. At the same time, it will automate bio energy plant operations.

-Mr. Ambani said that shareholders are the backbone of Reliance so we will consider issuing 1:1 shares as a bonus to its shareholders.
